To play Phyzzlets Corner with your friends, you will need to identify yourself by creating an in-game account or using your Facebook account.

Once logged on, we suggest you try the introduction Challenge Packs or some of the challenges already posted to the World Challenges List by selecting the "Play" button.

As you gain experience solving challenges, you might want to create challenges of your own and share them with friends. Selecting the "Create" button will take you through several steps that define the challenge and ultimately open an interface in which you will be able to create and test-solve your challenge.

First short description and a simple example for all available challenge types:
---
Keep The Balance
Objective: Remove all elements, one by one, from the structure without it collapsing or breaking in the process.
Method: Finger touch
Rules:
  • Elements cannot be removed from the scene when they are already obviously falling down
  • Elements cannot be removed too quickly before the structure has settled
  • Elements accumulate damage when falling and could eventually break
  • Any element touching the ground outside of the original footprint of the structure will result in failure.

Example
Bring Down Safely
Objective: Remove elements, one by one, from the structure in order to safely bring all fragile elements in the scene down to the ground.
Method: Finger touch
Rules:
  • Elements cannot be removed from the scene when they are already obviously falling down
  • Elements cannot be removed too quickly before the structure has settled
  • Elements accumulate damage when falling and could eventually break
  • If activated, a magic shield could protect fragile elements from breaking once
  • If activated, reduced gravity will make elements fall slower, making the challenge easier

Example
Demolition
Objective: To destroy the structure so all elements are in contact with the ground.
Method: Cannon, finger swipe, finger touch
Rules:
  • Cannon and finger swipe launchers reduce available space in which structures can be built
  • Ground and anchored elements cannot be destroyed. However, to solve the challenge, no breakable elements should be left on top of ground or anchored elements.

Example
Eliminate the Villain
Objective: To remove all villains from the scene.
Method: Cannon, finger swipe, finger touch
Rules:
  • Cannon and finger swipe launchers reduce available space in which structures can be built
  • Parts (or all) of the structure can be destroyed in the process
  • Friendlies in the scene should remain unharmed.

Locked features and elements Locked edit features and elements can be permanently unlocked using in-game coins (Phyzzlets Coins). An initial amount of Phyzzlets Coins is credited to you when your account is first created. After that you receive additional coins when:
  • friends solve or resign challenges you have sent them
  • the first time someone solves a challenge that you have posted to the World List
  • over time, as people rate your World List challenges and/or feel compelled to use helpers (listed below) to solve them
  • over time, as you reach various milestones such as number of posted challenges, ranking, number of active friends etc.
  • the purchase coins using the "Go Pro" interface under "Options"

Helpers

All challenges have a solution, but some may be harder to solve than others. Helpers are additional tools that could help you solve difficult challenges faster for the price of a few Phyzzlets Coins per play. Helpers need to be selected before you make your first move towards solving the challenge, and will be available to you until you solve the challenge or cancel/resign out of it.

Here is the list of available helpers:
Available in demolition-type challenges (Like Demolition and Eliminate the Villain). This helper will allow you to pick additional projectiles of all available options, including projectiles which might not be available to you in Edit mode.
Available in demolition-type challenges (Like Demolition and Eliminate the Villain). This helper will help improve your aim with the cannon launcher: a target sign is placed on the ground to indicate where fired projectiles are going to land.
Available in challenges where fragile Friendlies or glass elements are used. This helper will double the endurance of those elements. The shield cannot be applied multiple times to make the elements indestructible, but it could give you the extra edge you might need.
Available in challenges where gravity is your main opponent (like Keep the Balance and Bring Down Safely). This helper will reduce the effect of gravity, giving you extra time to catch elements before they crash on the ground. Elements will also not break as easily upon collision as they normally do.
Interesting Elements

Some building elements have features that are not obvious. Please review the description below for details

Projectiles with multiple bodies like the triple metal balls can be used as a single heavier projectile to hit a single target. When launcher a quick tap on the screen will split the projectile in multiple smaller bodies and help hit multiple tagets.
The Atomizer is a projectile, which would disintegrate any element on impact. Since it is an energy field it will not apply any forces to the element or the rest of the structure and can be used to surgically remove elements from a large structure or next to friendlies that must be protected.
Projectiles with fuses like this one may behave differently depending on the force with which they collide with other elements. If the force of the collision was not strong enough it might only ignite the fuse thus allowing the projectile to bounce before exploding.
The A-Wave would similar to the atomizer projectile disintegrate any element on impact. Unlike the atomizer it expands like a rotating wave and slashes through everything on its way. It is energy based and does not apply forces but because of the way it expands and rotates it could cause a lot of damage - a real challenge to use around friendlies.
The Sticky Bomb is a funny projectile, which is just sticky. It will stick to the surface of the first element on the scene it touches and it will explode after a delay of a few seconds.
The rocket is an element, which would explode when it accumulated enough damage. If tapped lightly by another element or a projectile it will fire its engine and take off.
The UFO is an element, which would explode when it accumulated enough damage. Since it hovers in the air it cannot be put on top of another element. The UFO can, however, be used to carry elements balanced on top of it.
The Force Field is a static element, which cannot be destroyed but it will accelerate any other element or projectile in reverse direction on contact.
The sticky elements are building blocks with adhesive surface. They can be used to glue a structure together, prevent roundish objects from rolling over them etc. The elements are sticky but not indestructible. They do break when enough force is applied to them.
The Spring Balls is an element built from four balls attached to each other with springs under a lot of tension. When rocked the springs are released and the balls fly away in respective directions and can be very destructive.

Solving a Balance Challenge An example of how to solve a balance challenge built in mid-air on top alien saucers. Some anchored elements were used to make it more difficult.
The challenge is solved when all un-anchored elements are removed from the scene without breaking.
